Alternative Life Drawing Prep...

In between throat infections and colds I've been getting ready for two workshops that'll be taking place at Mostyn on the 7th and 14th. They'll be based on the new exhibition 'Ha Ha Road' which is a group show exploring the role of humour and boundaries in contemporary art, so I've been making a few props based on the exhibits for the model to pose with and plotting and planning away [pausing every so often for a coughing and sneezing fit]. Some of you will know that I used to run this type of life classes on a regular basis, mixing clothed models with still life & installations and unusual poses, and it's nice to revisit them! I'm actually quite excited about these two sessions as the exhibition really lends itself to the concept of fancy dress life drawing and getting people to look at and approach drawing differently!
If anyone's interested in coming along, they run on December 7th and 14th 6.30 - 8.30pm and the price is £10 per session or £15 for the two, it does need booking in advance via:

More info on 'Ha Ha Road' can be found HERE
